My name is Krissy, and I’m the owner of Blissful Massage Relief. I was born and raised in Utah, spent some time living in other states, and eventually found my way back here. I have three kids. In my free time, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, building things, solving puzzles, researching and learning new things, and playing video games with my family. I’ve always had a passion for helping people. I tried different jobs over the years, but none of them really stuck. I wanted something I could keep learning and growing in so I wouldn’t get bored, and that’s what drew me to massage. I decided to give it a try, and I’m really glad I did. It turned out to be the career that fit me best and doesn’t feel like work because it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. You won’t catch me working in a spa. That kind of setting just isn’t my thing. Doing the same massage on every body that’s on my table, where everything is timed evenly across the body whether you need it or not, that’s not my style. I focus on what actually needs the work. If something needs more time, that’s where I stay. If you’re wanting a full body session, I can absolutely do that too, it just won’t be a routine, one size fits all massage. I started my career working in a chiropractic setting, helping people who were dealing with specific issues and pain, and it became clear that this is the direction I wanted to keep going. I eventually decided to branch out on my own, which is what led me to open my own office. Most of the people I work with are dealing with something specific that hasn’t gone away, or keeps coming back. Headaches, sciatic pain, tension patterns that don’t fully release. When someone is in pain, it needs a more customized approach. If something actually needs attention, that’s where my focus is going to be. That’s the kind of work I really love doing. The massage I provide is the kind of massage I would want to receive. Once your body is no longer causing a lot of pain, sessions can shift into maintenance and prevention so it doesn’t build back up the same way. Not affiliated with Groupon or third-party deal sites.
